County Court Judgments (CCJs)
If you have a judgment worth more than £600 including costs, forward it to our Transfer-Up Department who will transfer it to the High Court for enforcement.
Transfer-Up Service
In order for Marston Group to enforce a County Court Judgment it must be transferred to the High Court. We offer a transfer-up service through our partner solicitors, at no cost to our clients. The only payment required is a £60 cheque for the fee charged by the court for issuing the writ.
The cheque should be made payable to Her Majesty's Courts Service or HMCS. We complete all the paperwork for free.
To transfer-up your CCJ forward it to our Transfer-Up Department and we will do the rest!
We can issue a writ to enforce any High Court Order issued on the Queen's Bench or Chancery Division. However, to transfer and enforce a CCJ, the judgment amount must be £600 or more.
The CCJ must also have arisen from a debt not regulated under the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
No CCJ
If you do not have a judgment, you can issue proceedings by applying for one at court or online at http://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk.
You will need a credit card to pay the £60 court fee.
Please note this fee is payable to Her Majesty's Court Service, not Marston Group. You will also need to know the debtor's full name and address and details of the sum owed to you.
