Gareth Hughes, Marston's Deputy Chief Executive, features in Credit Today's Top 100 listing

The Credit 100 comprises individuals that have made the most impact on the credit industry in 2010. The list includes key government ministers, private equity firms, CEOs and directors from companies such as HSBC, Experian and Lloyds Banking Group.

Presenting an overview of Gareth's impact on the industry, Credit Today stated that: "Hughes began the year by becoming a founder member of a steering committee called the Enforcement Regulation Group, and in April and May helped to represent the enforcement industry in meetings with both Treasury and local government ministers.

Following a promotion within the firm to deputy chief executive, he also represented the industry as a delegate at both the Liberal Democrat and Conservative party conferences. Hughes also became authorised as a High Court Enforcement Officer, joining a member of an elite group of individuals authorised to receive high court writs."

Alongside Gareth, Brian Havercroft was also noted for his role as Chair of the Civil Court Users' Association. Brian has played an important role in forging stronger links between users of the Courts Service and HMCS. Marston's Chairman, John Marston, was also mentioned for his continued role advising on enforcement internationally.
