Marston Group ("Marston") is pleased to announce it has been voted Enforcement Team of the Year at the Credit Today Awards, for the second year running. Marston remains the only company to have ever won the Award.
The ceremony, attended by over 500 credit professionals, was held at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel on 18 November, and the judges commented on Marston's performance as follows:
"This company has shown how vast its contribution has been this year, to the benefit of the industry's reputation at large. Senior staff have been involved in vital consultations with the Ministry of Justice that could help to reform the enforcement industry for the better. Its financial performance was strong, and both its use of technology and local authority workshops were very impressive."
Gareth Hughes, Deputy Chief Executive, said:
"The team at Marston is delighted, both by the Award itself and by the judges' positive comments - particularly the acknowledgement of strength in a number of different areas.
The Award is testament to the hard work and professionalism shown by our staff. The Board would like to thank them for their contribution, which is not only recognised by us, but also by the industry representatives on the judging panel."
In 2009, the judges commented that:
"A strong, consistent performance from enforcement business Marston Group set itself apart in the judging panel's view. An incredibly professional business, its lobbying and work in the industry also made it a clear winner in this category."
Ends.
