Neil Jinks, Marston Group's High Court Client Relationship Manager has been appointed a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Management with immediate effect.
Fellowship is ICM's highest Membership accolade, so the criteria are naturally both stringent and demanding.
There is no direct admittance to Fellowship and applicants must have been vocational or graduate Members of ICM for at least 5 years continuously and demonstrated support for the Institute.
Applicants for Fellowship must meet certain criteria in order to gain this level of membership, such as that they occupy a position of significant responsibility within credit management and have done so for at least seven years, have made a notable contribution to the credit profession over at least five years, have participated in national or branch affairs and will through their career achievements, have increased the regard or recognition accorded to the Institute or to the credit profession.
Neil said: "I am delighted to have been approved as a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Management, having been involved with ICM throughout my 22 years in credit management. Over the years, I have been actively involved with various branches and I am pleased to serve as Public Relations Officer on the ICM East Midlands Branch Committee. I look forward to continue working with the ICM and its members to help to raise the profile of our profession, which is so important to the economy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the ICM's Membership & Recruitment Committee and my referees for supporting my application."
Successful applicants may use, whilst in membership, the designatory letters FICM.
